The president of the EU is having a little get together with a few pals at Hampton Court on Thursday 27 Oct.

from my local free sheet
" Traffic will be diverted around the building as the leaders arrive but the details will be kept under wraps for security reasons"

"The palace will be shut THROUGHOUT THE HALF TERM BREAK to prepare security measures"
So forget taking the kiddies there.

"Kingston Peace Council will hold a protest on Hampton Court Bridge during the summit. 9am-10am & 4pm-6.30pm."

For those not familiar with the area. The palace next to the bridge where the A309 meets the A308.

So I have no idea on what the impact on the immediate traffic situation or the surrounding area but I for one will keep well clear.
I guess other organisations might also decide to join in the festivities.

From the local press an update.
Also avoid the A 307 Esher High Street / Sandown Race Course area as this is also involved as a press centre etc.
