I've got one of those fans at the back of my computer!

Surely on a carburettor engine, any kind of forced induction (if it worked!) before the carb will increase the pressure in the venturi outlet leading to a leaner burn? Not good if you ask me.

Its not forced induction. It is simply a little tube with fins inside which fits in line with your air intake hose. It is simply supposed to ensure that the air your engine sucks in is spinning by the time it gets there.

Its complete rubbish.
