Omega 2.5 Diesel Injector leak

Omega 2.5 Diesel Injector leak - kildrum
The bosch KCA 21s-91 diesel injector on my 1998 omega is leaking diesel at the plastic sensor connection on the injector itself! Are these repairable ? Does anyone know what the purpose of this sensor is?
