Sorry for the multiple postings! I was going to hire a car in Malaga myself and this lot have an inclusive price with no CDW XS at all - what you see is what you and includes everything except fuel (of course)!

I'll check the lot of them out this evening at my leisure.

Usually only liability is for damage to tyres/wheels.

Must agree with carjet. Picked up a car at Malaga Airport two weeks ago that I had booked on the internet a month or so earlier.
A Ford Focus (latest model with low milage and which turned out to be diesel) cost £110 for eight days. This included all insurances/CDW etc although I did pay another 10E at the airport to cover tyres and the floor pan.
The price included a full tank of fuel but of course you can never judge it right to return it empty. At that price who cares?

I used Carjet in the summer and will be using them again next week from Malaga. Excellent prices - usually cheaper than booking direct with the company. Had a Focus from Europa in the summer which was old shape and seemed a bit slow for a 1.6 but it did the job well enough. Someone scraped right along the passenger door whilst it was parked outside the supermarket - they didn't bother one bit, I pointed it out and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and took the keys back.
If you are going for a short time and ask nicely they will usually let you return the car full. The petrol can be a bit of a rip off, especially on the smaller cars. My parents had a Hyundai Getz last week and were charged 50 euros for the petrol and they don't hold anything like 50L, the going rate for fuel is just over 1 euro a litre.

Booked with Premiercarjet. They say on their website:
Our car hire rates are inclusive of all required car hire vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) at Malaga Airport and have no car hire insurance excess, this means that there is no credit card deposit on arrival at Malaga Airport against damage to the car hire vehicle's bodywork and in the event of bodywork damage to the car hire vehicle (like dented panels, broken wing mirrors etc, not : tyres glass wheels etc see below) there is no renter responsibility.
On the booking confirmation / voucher, it says I need a Visa credit card to collect the car - not a Visa debit card. I haven't got a credit card.
Response from Premiercarjet was to put me with a different company, but who will charge a 300 Euro excess. Refund offered if I don't want this.
Is this legal? I thought the terms of the contract as above were binding?
Why do they want a credit card rather than a debit card anyway?
Would you still hire the car on these terms?
