Hi there,
I just managed to fish an Inforad unit from the bay for £36. Now it was only used for 4 month hence supose to have another 8 moth of free updates. My question is :did anyone ever bought a 2nd hand unit? and what details should I ask from the previous owner in regrd to me been able to get the rest of the updates?
The Inforad web site don't gives many details and they did not answer my email even after a week.

force without the aid of judgement will collapse through its own mass.

Why not buy a normal gps and set all speed camaras as way points and activate way point alarm and use in speed mode.No fees

When updates cost £50 for life and a new GPS unit is way above my pocket limit, I think Inforad gives a good basic deal.
|
Selling a Road Angel probably has the same problem.
I think the downloads for an update only come to the registered address.
Not looked into the possibility of changing the registered addressee but it would need a degree of cooperation between all three parties.

Have you downloaded the Inforad Manager from the web site and tried to update the data base?
|
Its at this point when you try and transfer ownership for updates that you find out your e-bay "find" is knicked.
If any sat nav or speed camera locator does not come with its original update software, assume its knicked.
