rear suspension Peugeot 405 estate - duggie
I have a pug 405 estate 1996, just noticed that 1 side of the car (rear) is quite noticeably lower than the other, anyone have any ideas what the problem maybe?
Cheers. Duggie

Have you looked underneath?Could be a broken spring.

I think they are torsion bars on the 405. Could be them, or failing bearing. If you are not sure, let the local MOT station look at it and ask if it is a failure.

While you are on, have you tried getting your spare wheel out lately. Worth spraying the carrier retaining bolt with WD 40 etc and freeing it off whilst you are under, or when you need it it will take a couple of hours to free off.

I agree with Dave it's most likely the trailing arm bearing that is badly worn.
