HI My daughter has a Renault Megane . The security code has been lost Can anyone help with advice on how to remove the head unit so that I can have it recoded.

I didn't know you could recode them. Can Renault not give you the code?
Failing that, I think it comes out using poppers. (a few quid from a motor shop) or you could use wire coathangers. Simply plug them into the little hole at the side and it should pop out.
Try Renault first though.

Yes Renault can re code them about 30 -40 quid Else my local radio shop have said it possible as well I will try the poppers

Don't be surprised that when you take it out - there is a large sticker on it with the security code!
