From the photo it looks almost identical to my Navman PiN which I got cheap on ebay but which were selling for £499 in PC World not so long ago. Could be a bargain

Can't find it on the Lidl web-site?
Neither could I. As the offer is regional, perhaps they thought better than announcing it though their site. As I said, it was mentioned in a leaflet I picked up yesterday in one of their stores.

If you are ever in Germany pop into a Lidl,the last time they had nav units they worked out at around 156ukp put they soon sell out.

I bought a nice sat nav set-up from Aldi in Luebeck. About £150. PDA is a bottom-end HP clone (without Bluetooth) and it came with Navigon software. Excellent value and very reliable so far.

The Lidl multimedia offers in our area appear to be for digital satellite receivers and dishes (not Sky); prices seem good though if you want Astra and similar feeds (clever motoring link?)
