| Hello
After a tiring day of driving a pheasent decided to bolt into the road.

By the time i saw it, it was too late to do anything at all.

There is now a crack in the lower part of my bumper.

How do i tidy it so it is not visible.

                    | Repaired my Mondeo rear bumper last week. Bumper off, GRP patch on the outside deep enough to overlap 2 seperate cracks. Was going to patch the inside but the bumper is foam filled/backed so had to get the wood chisel out and big out enogh foam to allow a GRP patch to be applied to the inside. Let cure then sanded it down with Rough wood sandpaper to feather edges. Fitted the bumper and resprayed all in a day.First applied a plastic primer that aids paint adhesion, primed with a filler primer ( numerous coats), and finished with metallic and lacqeur Job finished, no sign of it ever being cracked.Cost £17 for the GRP kit and £10 for the metallic paint and a days labour in the garage. Cheapest cost on the internet £115 supplied painted. |
