Worth travelling up to london for or not. Let me know any good or bad experiences you've had there.

I think No FM2R gave you a detailed response in a previous thread. What you see is what you get. I've been to have a look and found a few things that caught my eye.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

The only reason i'm asking is tha they seem head and shoulders cheaper than anywhere else and i'm from the school that if somthings to good to be true it proberly isn't.
There are 2003 primeras/lagunas with 75-80k for under £5000, down here your lucky to get a 2000/2001 reg for that much.
Also is better better to go for a older car with less miles or newer car with more miles?

I'd always go for newer with more miles. Newer normally equals safer and more economical. As long as the servicing has been up to scratch high miles wouldn't worry me, it's more likely to be motorway miles which cause little wear.

I called in there last week to look at Mondeos, Focus, Astras, Vectras etc at around £5k to £7K. Prices are definitely keen and there really is an awful lot of cars to work your way through. It's well laid out and the staff are helpful not at all pushy; you're left to your own. It's very much what you see is what you get. Overall I was a little disappointed in the general condition of most of the cars I was interested in. Lots of dents, scrapes, scratches and holes in dashes and seats, dials missing etc. These are reps cars so maybe I should expect some extra wear and tear. Good clean examples seemed several £hundred extra. I'll be going back in October to buy two or three cars for the business and I'll allow myself plenty of time to find the right ones.

I traveled from the North West to Car Giant. It was a good place loads of cars to see at good prices. As NeilS said above the condition of a lot of the cars wasn't great I expect they are mostly ex company or rental cars.

I bought a car in one day from them in January this year. Took about 2 hours for them to make it available and I paid by debit card. The only difficulty was that I could not tax it but I took the risk driving back to Leicester. Their web page details the id documents you need to bring.
