Citroen Berling recall

Citroen Berling recall - mdb
Have just received a letter from my Cit dealer asking me to call to arrange an appointment to install a susspension cup on the front springs "to prevent any risk of the spring making contact with the vehicle tyre in the exceptional event of the spring breaking". I own an 03 reg Berlingo HDi.

Is this the recall mentioned in the CBCB dated 13/7/04? If so why was my recall a year later? If not is it a new recall?

I would have thought the dealer could tell you that.

I've just had a letter from Renault UK asking me to put an airbag sticker on the passenger end of the dashboard.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I had my Berlingo in for servicing last week, and the dealer informed me of the recall you mention, and they did the job at the time. They certainly gave the impression that it was a very recent recall.
