I'm sorry to bring this up again, but the search facility does not seem to be working at the moment. I am planning to change the plugs on SWMBO's 1.4 Puma and have found that they are the taper seat type. Is there any advice that I should follow before taking the old plugs out? Is it best done with the engine hot? Should the new plugs be smeared with copper grease to prevent them siezing?

Which one? Site search at the top of the page, or Forum Search just under where you log in/out on the RH side of the page?
If the former, then that doesn't search out previous forum posts. Only the Forum Search does that.
