Mondeo Panel Light stopped working

Mondeo Panel Light stopped working - Yoby
One of the lights in the instrument panel (illuminating the temp gauge) has stopped working in my Mondeo Mk3. Are there any quick fixes for this - the haynes manual does not give many clues?
