To be honest it looks like a base model Tipo from the rear doesnt it? but having the leather seats does make it seem more special edition i suppose!

Looks better than the new Seat Toledo anyway.... and for the avoidance of doubt, we are talking about two cars on this thread now...

Dos-a-dos. Nah - it would have to be the XP version or it would keep crashing. Mind you just finished on e-bay was a nice blue coloured 79 Dolomite Sprint 39k, went for under two grand.

That's the third time that this Tipo has been on Ebay - was in Guernsey when previously offered, and failed to meet reserve the last time.
|
Now here's a question..
The first number plate was issued in 1904 and the doe-si-doe was made prior to that. It has no plates in the picture so does that mean it does not require them? Looking at the styling putting plates on it would make it look rather silly.

6 months MOT, no rear lights? indicators? hmmm

Thats all that Fiat could come up with for Mansell? A tipo?
I like the dos a dos because it has a boiler.

Steams up from cold in 20 minutes!

"Steams up from cold in 20 minutes"
Nasty Head gasket problem then?

In 1990 Mansell finished 5th in the championship with only one race victory under his belt. If he'd had a better season he might have been given a Croma.

How come the Dos-a-dos has 6 months tax?
Surely it's exempt?
|
|
I'm pretty sure exempt vehicles have to display a valid disc, but that disc doesn't cost anything. I've seen vehicles with "NIL" on the tax disc before. It presumably still needs to be renewed every year with valid V5, MOT and insurance.
