Wow. Well for the bikes anyway.

I found it telling that Patrick Head flew back from Hockenheim after qualifying to go to the MotoGP at Donnington!

I'll start off with

Brundel's driver of the day

Raikonnen? Raikonnen? I'm sorry, but what is Brundel on? The guy didn't manage to make it much way past the half way point of the Grand Prix, and IMHO didn't do any better job than Alonso did!

My personal choice would have been Montoya, but he was dismissed for his mistake in qualifying yesterday, which of course couldn't (?!) be made up by a stunning 20th to 2nd performance today!

Yet again the British Touring Car Championship makes Formula1 look positively pedestrian.

Real action and often brilliant overtaking, along with bumps and scrapes galore...:-)

If you want to see some truly exciting racing, get over to Thruxton on 19th July. Truck racing. :oD

Can't beat it for noise, smell, excitement and all round good humour. The support races tend to be a giggle too.

I know truck racing was slow, but are they still racing some 5 days later?

August, I meant August.

I've been sipping at Apples. They deserve a capital letter, do Apples. They don't however, mix very well with typing.

and then couple them with sheer incompetence and what do you get?
