i have a nissan primera 1996 m reg the remote for the central locking and immobilizer deactivation only works part of the time, no previous problems with the remote have changed the batterys still same problem central locking will operate on the key but that leaves me in the car pressing the unlock button on my remote untill the immobilizer deactivates sometimes this takes 4-5 minutes i know theres a problem but i dont know what please anyone help me

Dear Astroglow

I can not open my 96 Primera remotely, but once in the car the ignition starts first time.

What happens when you try to turn the ignition?

Nip on (pardon the pun) to www.npoc.co.uk/default.asp and post yur question there (Nissan Primera Owners Club) and they should be able to help.

You will have to register but not necessarily have to join (£15 per annum).
