There's a new Government database that allows you to check if you've been caught speeding. I don't think I've seen it on this site before: www.e-database.co.uk/check.asp

You need the 'username and password'.

Seen before though ;o)

Surely if you have been caught speeding then you don't need to check a website as you will already know?

Or am I missing something here?

Oh no! I was caught in Cambridge doing 37.9mph in a 30 area. The only trouble is that I have never taken my current car to Cambridge. Has my car been cloned? When I checked the photo, it definitely was not my car.

I didn't believe it was a real site. I've seen this site recommended before and always thought it was a wind-up.

Anyway, this time I thought I'd give it a go; so I put Alan's registration number in. Now I don't know for sure if he's been on that road before never mind at the time and date they quote, but the picture is definitely him.

I entered the details of car of mine which was burnt to a crisp nearly five years ago. Apparently, it has been caught doing 81.2mph on tuesday in Middsleborough.

How did someone mange to make an incinerated car go that fast?
