Rover 75 for 50% off list - GreatestDancer
Ok so everybody on here seems to be talking about getting at least 50% off of list price for a new Rover 75. If I can get a fully loaded diesel automatic connoisseur for £12k then I'd be happy.

Can anyone come up with a link selling Rovers for somewhere near half price? Clearly there's a need to then negotiate a bit more in person to get things as low as possible but I haven't really found anything remotely close to 50% of list.

Aren't the liquidators trying to raise some cash? I thought one of Rover's few remaining assets was vehicle stock. I wonder if that includes half-built ones...?

Try the Inchcape group. I am told they have at least a hundred 75s to shift.

The Rover (Inchcape) dealership next to us has bought lots of the stock and are selling them cheap although i have no idea of what stock they have got and how cheap they are though. Their number is 01283 545353

You could approach them directly - just seen this on the website

If I remember correctly there was an advert in Saturday's DT Motoring section stating 50% off Rovers. I think it was Motorpoint of Derby.

Oh yes, there's been some serious advertising from the local blokes - on the 75 and the MG-TF. Apparently there are shed loads in RSA at present, which they are trying to shift!!!

Yep, they are offering the 100 000 km/ 3 year warranty - STILL part of the advert! (along with a Union Jack - who them try to fool?)

Obviously they don't realise that anybody with the brains to part with a year's salary for a motor car (cars ain't cheap here) might, just might, read the business pages.

My understanding is that the ownership issues have been resolved and the last few thousand are being dribbled on to the market mainly through closed auctions.

No help at to where but if you want a new Rover NOW is the time.

One thought can an auction buyer access a closed auction? If so this may be a way to go.
