Auctionview: what does 'track' mean?

Auctionview: what does 'track' mean? - GreatestDancer
I've subscribed to auctionview and have found I have the option of 'tracking' certain cars that go up for sale. What does this option actually do?

I was hoping it could then tell me the price that the car sold for after the auction is over but can't seem to find this information? Is there any other way of finding this out except for hoping HJ's auction reports cover the car I want?

If it's like eBay it will track a sale in 'my eBay' or whatever the Auctionview equivalent is.

The Tracking facility is handy, if the car gets re rentered, after not selling, in it's first sale.

You won't get prices achieved, available, though.This facility is ONLY available to the big vendors, with special saccess to the site.

& I don't think non account customers even get the benefit of 'average' selling prices displayed to them, either.
