406 Dial Nightmare!! - Benizioni

Hi, I have a 1996 406 1.9lx td.For a while now I have had a problem with the speedo dial. From cold the dial will work fine, but when approaching normal running temp the needle will begin to flicker up and down before finaly resting at 0 mph for the rest of the trip. Any one have any ideas what it could be as I dont want to be replacing parts that dont need to be replaced.Thanks......

If you read the posts in the link below, you will find out how mine was cured. I don't know if this is applicable to the 1.9td, but it cured mine which is a 2.1td.
