Been looking at a people carrier,and quite fancy an Estima/Lucida,because of the spec.
I know that they may suffer certain problems,but then again,so can any car,but I would be keen to hear from owners experiences with them,particularly with parts and obtaining insurance,and which model/spec bought.
Any information would be gratefully received.

As its an import insurance is a nightmare as well as getting parts, i say dont bother!!

Any toyota dealer can order the parts in although they can take some time to come through. There are also quite a few companies now who specialise at importing parts.

I am not completely sure that I am correct in saying this, but the diesels can produce head gasket problems as do the Hilux diesels.
Out of interest, can anyone tell me whether the estima uses the same engine as the toyota camry in petrol?
Also, where is a good place to buy one in London?

I dont think HJ likes them very much, he certainly doesnt like the Space Cruiser at all as mentioned in his 'Car by car breakdown'.
