Oil Change Honda Diesel - mgflyer
I have purchased a Oct 04 Honda Accord Diesel with 5,000 miles on the clock. I am keen to get Mobil 1 into the engine as i intend to keep the car a long time, is this to early for an oil change. Also which is the correct Mobil 1 product to use.

As far as i knew, the standard oil as used by honda is 0W30 fully synthetic in the 2.2 CDTi engine. Which means that chances are that Mobil 1 (or a Castol etc etc equivalant)is already in the engine. Also HJ's recommendation is that the oil is not changed for the first year, but after that changed every six months.
