Does the VW 2.0 140ps GTI TDi come with at "GT TDI" Badge or is it just the 200ps ones?

From memory (I had one on 24 hr loan recently) it only says 2.0 TDI on the back.

Just out of interest MM, how did the car drive? Was there anything that was good / bad?

I liked it, the slightly stiffer suspension really benefits the car. It feels well built and I have raved on here before that the 2.0tdi is superb, very flexible with loads of grunt in all gears (I'm getting an Audi A3 with the same engine)!
It has very comfortable sport seats, good level of equipment (although the recent price change means the new ones don't come with climate control). Bit dark inside, but it feels like it will last a while, although the one I had on test had an annoying rattle from the dash!
If it was my money, I'd wouldn't spend £18k on one, but they work out very well as company leasing deals!

it still comes with climate control just not the duel one which you still get on the gti.my vw garage says they havnt had any brake down problems and theirs no posts of this problem on the mkv forum either?

In the UK at present the only Golf available with the 2.0 TDi is a GT version so no need to differentiate the model. This unit in my A3 is a peach, plenty of power when it's needed, but pootles around town with ease and very quick off the mark (DSG no doubt helps this), it's also very quiet. I still haven't done 3,000 revs in 6th yet - too many cops and cameras about!
Over 70% of new Audis sold at our local dealership are diesels and over 90% of these are specced with the 2.0 engine.

My brochure shows "2.0 TDI" (and it's upper case "I", not lower case)- but this is a Spanish publication with pictures of cars with German number plates! Also we get Conceptline/Trendline - Sportline - Highline, instead of UK designations.
