he siad some one told him it has to services every 1000 miles

I find that VERY hard to believe.
Perhaps it has to have a first service at 1000 miles though, and that has led to confusion?
If he's got one on order, perhaps the best bet would be to ring Aston Martin themselves? They pride themselves on their customer service.

doesn't have the V8Vantage which I would assume he's talking about, but the three current models it does have are all 7,500 miles, so I'd hazard a guess that it's the same.

If it was every 1,000 miles I'm sure JC would have taken great care to mention it - very loudly.
