F1 Testing at Silverstone - Citroënian {P}
Hi all,

Thought I'd mention that there's a FREE testing session at Silverstone for the F1 cars tomorrow and Thursday. Today it was a bit wet and only Williams turned up, but the Renault and Jordan trucks were getting set up so hopefully there'll be more tomorrow.

I'll be there if anyone else is, introduce yourself, I'll be under the green and blue brolly wearing a red and black...anorak.

Hi Lee

Is there a diary available anywhere of the testing days at Silverstone?

The company I work for has a box there which we can use for meetings etc, it would be a strange coincidence if I happened to book a meeting on the same day as some F1 testing.

You can get details of the racing calendar (including test days) from Silverstone's website (www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk).

There is a big pre British GP test scheduled for June 1st, 2nd & 3rd which is usually attended by all the teams and entry is free.

Hopefully I'll be covering two full laps of the GP Circuit on foot next Tuesday evening during the Siverstone 10K road race?

Praying for a 'calm' evening as running into a headwind down the Hanger Straight can be a tad arduous!

The rain came at lunchtime so we headed home early - nice to be back before the rush hour and be sat here with a glass of wine! Some photos :

Interesting pics Lee, I might pop up tomorrow afternoon I have a meeting in Northampton in the morning.

Possibly the only spectator there suited and booted!

certainly make the june testing dates!
