GPS Safey Alerts Systems - Polygro
I am interested to know more about GPS Systems that alert you to speed cameras, accident blackspots etc.

I have read that the use of them can reduce accidents but it strikes me that if we drive within the speed limit there would be no need for these devices at all.

I like gadgets and was wondering about getting a Road Angel or Snooper Evolution - but would it just be a waste of money and make me rely on the device being alert rather than me being alert and driving properly???

(My apologies if there has been a thread about this in the past but I could not find much information when I did a search).

Thanks

I have to say that I don't speed, but I do use a PDA with TomTom gps software with the speed camera database on it. It has picked up most cameras that I have come accross, It is sometimes worth knowing where they are even if you are not speeding.
