I have a 2001 MB E class 320 CDI estate with 124,000 miles.
The front suspension is noisy on bumpy roads, it has been suggested that it might be worn anti-roll bar bushes.
Can anyone confirm, or suggest a different solution? Any idea of cost?

Could well be. It would need visual inspection. Easy job to change and the bushes are not expensive. My random guess is £100 at a dealer or £50 at an independent. Its a basic 'bread and butter' job any mechanic should be able to do.

What do you mean by "noisy" ?
Rattling, squeaking, banging?
Do you feel anything through the steering wheel?
Are there clunks on full steering wheel travel ie to full left, full right and the same in reverse?
Find a carpark and try. Easy solution with the full answers.
