My local dealers offering £11000 off 54 plate ZTs in the local paper. Looking at the small print, they're claiming they've reduced the price of a ZT 135cdti from....wait for it....£30000 down to £19000. Now before the company went bust, you could get a brand new example for less than that. A bit of kidology going on. Wonder if anybody will be suckered.

I hear that an element of the problem, regardless of who owns the cars, is that the car transporter firms won't move them until their bills are paid and cash up front for work done now. A bit like the parts suppliers who, quite understandably wanted their bills paid.

Just wait a while, they'll want to get shot of them somehow.
The MG TF I can see holding a bit of value - the others will crumble. The 75 never had much of an image prior to the collapse, but who now would buy one of those new - even at 50% of new price?

The rover dealer next door to my place is knocking out 75 connesuirs for £12k

Isn't there one born every minute? ;) Well OK perhaps not in Rovers case cause they went bust - but yes the point is worth noting these cars were 'rock bottom' anyways, and if anyone gets duped into believeing that these cars are now being sold 'cheap' deserves everything they get.
Personally I have an idea as to what they were ging for 'before' and wait for any genuine 'bargain'.

Im not plain stupid, just a special kind of stoopid.
