From FleetNewsNet:
"GERMAN motoring organisation ADAC has gone for British after choosing MG cars for its driver training centre.
The first MG ZRs were delivered this month (March 05) to its centre near Dusseldorf. They will be used to teach drivers the safe way to handle a car on purpose-built handling areas that simulate heavy rain, ice and snow."
Isn't it amazing that elsewhere anyone who bought an MGR in the last 6 mths has been described as 'stupid' yet an organisation in Germany choose MG rather than any of the usual suspects.

I suspect they're going to feel rather stupdid now their warranties aren't being honoured.

I see nothing wrong with calling a German organisation stupid, isn't it allowed these days?
I imagine that the person who decided to buy the fleet of MGs is getting a pretty severe talking to by now, or just getting his CV up to date!

If they went to Longbridge in recent months asking for a fleet to be delivered, they probably got the red carpet and VERY good terms.
|
|
If they had negotiated a bit harder perhaps MG/Rover would have chucked the entire production line in as well.......
|
|
Perhaps it's a misprint and they really wanted some cars to train their mechanics on.
