I desperately do not wish to pay a premium price for second rate service, which has been my experience at Citroen main dealers. They do not give a fig about the car.
Can anyone recommend any Citroen independants(car still under warranty)in the Dundee/Perth or Aberdeen/Inverness areas or at a push anywhere else in Scotland (not the Outer Hebrides please)!

Can I add a request for info. on Citroen independents in the Hampshire area for when the warranty runs out on my C5.

Alan, I use an independent in Airdrie called Trade Secrets. Guy who runs it used to be the mechanic in the local Peugeot garage and as I have a Saxo which is the same as a 106 then I give my work to him.
Prices are a lot cheaper than dealer but you need to compare.

Pedigreed Cars Forres. Scotland's oldest Citroen dealer. They are recommended in HJs 'Good Garages' list. I bought my C5 from them and still travel 70 miles to Forres to have the car serviced. They have a big noticeboard in the service reception area plastered with letters of praise from happy customers - speaks for itself really.

Sorry - perhaps I misunderstood, initially thought you maybe meant 'Citroen dealers not part of national garage chains!'Pedigreed are main dealers. Prices aren't extortionate, though by dealer standards and you get 10% disc on parts and labour if you buy the car from them.
Sorry - can't help with true 'independents'

Thanks for that, as co-incidence might have it I took the car tp Pedigreed in Forres and picked it up today ,havent yet checked to see if they have overfilled the oil but the price was reasonable (as reasonable as it can be for a glorified oil change and a rubber stamp)and the service friendly and professional.
Still looking for independants though, competition is a good thing.
