Yes. HEGO is a Ford term IIRC.

GO = oxygen sensor? blimey thats a big leap of faith!

It was meant sarcastically. Actually I can't see the slightest reason why Heated Oxygen Sensor should become HEGO and not HOS.
(Incidentally HOS is the Welsh for SORN - not many people know that)
