Dumb question about buffer polishers - cdbr
Have just bought one of those buffer polisher things from B&Q (£15). There are two applicators - one is woolly and fluffy the other isn't. Which one do I put the polish on with and which is the polisher - get the impression from the chinese instructions that it is the fluffy one that applies it, but not sure?

I'm pretty sure that's the other way around. Terry cloth for polishing on, woolly one for polishing off.

Terry cloth for polishing on, woolly one for polishing off.

That's how I've previously done it before my orbital polisher gave up orbitalling.

yes its Terry on Wooly off. Once you've used it let us know if it's any good.

Yes, same here too. I bought one last year but no matter how hard I tie the bonnets on they keep flying off after just a few minutes of use!!

When you tie them on make em as tight as you can then tuck the line back under the pad, tends to stop it undoing itself.

My pads were elasticated around the top. Never had a problem with them coming off, just a problem with getting the thing to rotate.

Thanks,

Actually, I found the destructions and with this cheapo B&Q unit it is woolly pad for putting on and terry cotton for polishing.

It was easy to use and came up very well using autoglym.
