The Lengths They Go To - Robbie
I saw this number plate on a Mercedes today JH X MH. It was on front and rear plates. I puzzled about it and then realised it was really J11 XMH. The twit had a black rivet between the 1s, and had spaced out the letters.

Could it possibly mean they love each other so much they need to tell all and sundry?

Yeh but how tacky when they try to make us think a number 3 is the letter E or an 8 is an O, why not just put one of those stickers/tintband in the front windscreen with the driver and girlfriend name on it ie Capri escort days, would save a whole lot of money

Me too. Problem was they were a previous owner and I couldnt get them off!

I remember once following a maroon cavalier Northbound towards the Blackwall Tunnel. The number plate seemed a little odd, so I got a bit closer so I could read it. It said

"NOBHEAD"

I suspect that to be the mother of all motoring pranks!

On second thought, perhaps I'll keep the name on my birth cert. I've chugged round the block a few times in it(@480k),but I cant say I really like it like some cab happy lunatics I know who are happy to workfor a pittance as long as they get a nice new motor to drive and love to take it home weekends so they can look out of the window at it. AFAIC, its just a tool of the trade, like a mechanics toolbox. at days end, you put it away and do other things.
