It's uncanny. Am I actually someone else?
Don't know if this is commercial in confidence etc. but what sort of hit count does the backroom get and when are the peak times?

Nah.... you're not me ! we're going a little bit earlier - have a good time.

Clockwise. The roadworks between the m4 and the m3 flow between 30 and 40 mph. This morning I took the lorry from Biggleswade (a1) down to Chertsey (m3 j1) took 2 hours to get to the site at West Moseley.
What time of day are you travelling?

Flight's at half past one.

So, need to be at Stanstead by 11.30 ish. Shouldn't be a problem.
The rush two hours are over and any misshaps will have been cleared. I would still go clockwise.

Venice? I can recommend a top quality ice cream parlour out in Dorsoduro near enough to Zattere...the stracciatella is to die for...near S.Trovaso.
Quiet enough to relax away from the crowds and with enough restaurants and bars serving the University to have a buzz.

Recently was approaching tunnel anti-clockwise when radio said M25 closed at Dartford and M11 north closed. Turned around and went clockwise past Heathrow and up A1. Thankfully had enough time to be able to do this.
