I had one for about a week as a demo many moons back when i worked as a broker - could do them on contract hire for about £150 a month.

It wasn't particularly quick, it wasn't particularly economical, it looked cheap and was totally dull.

something like an avensis or primera would be a better choice in my opinion.

Unfortunately the Carisma doesn't live up to its name by a long chalk and the two postings above further emphasise the point.

In contrast Volvo did a lot more with what was basically the same vehicle from the Dutch plant.

Unless, of course, you merely have a car to get yourself from A to B and back and don't want to experience any semblance of anticipation or excitement whilst driving it.....

I'll admit the S40 was slightly better but it wasn't exactly fantastic by any means!
