'99 Accord - blown clock bulb - r_welfare
Just noticed that the bulb illuminating the digital clock (down in the centre console) of my '99 Accord isn't working. The clock still seems to be functioning, so I assume the bulb has blown. A trivial fault but still annoying.

Does anyone know how to get access to it? I can't see any obvious screws anywhere (although I haven't yet looked closely).

I had this problem a couple of years ago.. the trim that surrounds the gear lever and up around the clock/storage box is simply clipped in place. After that's out of the way, it became quite obvious what to do with exposed screw heads visible.

As usual, be careful removing clipped plastic trim - it breaks easily. However, this particular piece didn't seem too bad.

Very small wedge bulb if I remember correctly.

Probably too late now but if you pop out the two fresh air vents above the clock you can reach in and change the bulb, 5 minute job.
