hi all, i have some unsightly scuffing damage to the bumpers on my v70 has anyone any opinions on a company called chips away who have a local franchise and claim to be much cheaper than the traditional bodyshop any views most appreciated

Doing a forum search, other people's previous comments about chips away generally give them a thumbs up. BUT like all garages and repair shops, the quality of work does vary from franchise to franchise.

Yes it's more about the individual than the name they operate under, they did a rubbish job on a car of mine and a great job on my Dad's. I would ask at the Volvo dealer who they use, you could even go round while they're there on whichever half day of the week they go there and do the trade-ins and used Volvos etc....
