Hello there

I was wondering if anybody could offer advice on the following.

I have a chip tuned W Reg 1.7 DTI Astra with the 16v Isuzu engine and it has developed an apparent misfire or hesitation at approximately 2600rpm.

Unfortunately this equates to 70 mph in top gear and right at cruising speed on my motorway journeys although I can recreate the fault at the same revs but in a lower gear. Its only apparent on holding the car at that speed only and does not appear during acceleration up to, through or beyond that rev range. It almost feels like the car is running out of fuel for a better phrase, but as soon as you accelerate or drop below 2600rpm its gone.

I've checked for airleaks and reseated sensors that I can see and now I've reached the limit of my ability (!!). I really hope its not the chip tune as I've had that nearly 4 months and it hasn't been occuring for that long....

Not a lot to go on I'm afraid, but I would welcome any pointers all the same. Thanks in advance.....
