Howling sound from front wheel-volvo S80

Howling sound from front wheel-volvo S80 - Boltar
Hi

I've got a volvo S80 which is FWD. Recently there has been a low howling sound coming from the front right wheel( sounds a bit like the wind whistling past except an octave lower) which
gets loud the faster the car goes. Does anyone know what could
possibly be causing this? Bearings, joints etc?

Has a garage/fitter of any sort been at it recently. My first action would be to get the thing jacked up and make sure all the wheel bolts and the hub bolt are tight.

Yeah , had the wheels balanced last month. Do you think the wheel might be working loose?
