Insurance and penalty points - DizzyBill
Surely once you have 3 or 6 points from speed cameras ( for like 34mph in a 30 limit ....) you are a safer driver than before? Because you'll drive a bit more carefully,

So why the extra insurance premium?

Are there any insurance companies out there targeting this market? I for one would be most interested.

Reckless speeding offender, ie, speeding and not being careful about it. Better to speed and not get caught means you are normally more alert :)

Got a feeling this will open a big can of worms!

Why extra insurance premiums? well you've been caught at least once doing illegal speeds and so the view is your more likely to have an accident as your not as careful a driver as people without points on their license.
