audi cd changer - Dave Andrews
hi
my A6 cd changer in the boot jumps when playing a cd. it only does it at certain times and not always when the car is moving so its not vibration. ive tried different cd's and also used a cd lens cleaner.

any other suggestions?

Sounds knackered mate. The cd transport is fitted with vibration damping mechanism which sounds as if it is malfunctioning.

Is the player original equipment or retro-fitted?

its an Audi OE fit cd player. i think its made by panasonic.
