Seat Toledo. Price? - Thommo
Seat Toledo. 2.0 sport. 40,000 miles. R reg. One owner from new. Full service history. I know the guy so its all cosher.

Wants £1,600 for it. I say bargain. Comments?

This is the old Golf II based hatchback. Glass's reckons on PX prices of £1180/£1010/840 at 50000 miles.

Could be a bargain - quite an interesting and practical car, with a good spec on these late models, and if it suits you, it would be ideal.

There are however similar cars for similar money in the Trader, especially if you allow a bit of haggle room, so I wouldn't buy it unless you actually like the car and it would suit you.

If so, do it by all means, but it's not such a good deal that you could run around in it for three months and make a tidy profit that would make up for it if it wasn't the right car for you.

Like others have said it's an OK price but not an amazing one.

If you are in the market for a car and this one suits you then by all means go for it - you know it's history and that it's been well looked after. It's no cast iron guarantee of it's future reliability but a hell of a lot less of a risk than buying one off ebay/trader/local rag.
