Where are the pollen filters on these. DIY or Mechanic job ?

If it has a pollen filter,it will be under the plastic panel in front of the wipers.Fairly easy DIY job.

I can't understand why Vauxhall didn't put the 1998 onwards Astra pollen filter in the same place. You have to remove the glovebox to gain access to it!!

Someone else has covered the pollen filter question. Just one other thing. Make sure the cambelt, tensioners and possibly water pump are changed, or have been changed at 40,000 miles or 4 year intervals. Ecotecs are famous for failures, including my own, costing £1000 to fix.

Cheers just had the Cam Belt and tensioners done....as a precaution. Previous onwer claimed it was done last year - don't believe him.
