Dear all,
I and The 'Ayatollah at Homei' need to hire a camper, (quality) 2 berth minimum for the end of July for 1 week. We are based in North Devon and the nearest I have found is Plymouth, which traffic wise I would prefer to avoid. Any info out there or any suggestions.

Dear Boy I never thought to ask! Brochure on way though, but from a couple of prices I have seen the cost seems quite prohibitive. We'll see.

Thanks Romeo. The name is a little misleading I thought so I left the L out thinking it was a spelling mistake, but it wasn't. Oh! what a doubting Thomas. Good site and I have ordered a quote over the net with a brochure follow up. Will update when received.

there are a couple of dealers in the burnham-on-sea area that do this but like you say the price is quite expensive (cant remember the names offhand) possibly a bit closer for you...cheers...keo

I've often fancied trying a motorhome. Could anyone give a (very) rough idea of what it costs to hire one? I've been told they are 'pricey' but I've never actually enquired 'how pricey'!

I am still awaiting a quote from Motorholme, (Yes correct spelling), but from my limited info' to date I expect anywhere between £600 - £800 for a week high season, which may put me off. could probably buy a half decent caravan for double that. AAAAGH! I hear you all shouting, but I have the towing machines to whisk, not crawl along, so there!
