Hey guys, I have a 97 R Dturbo 3door and quite luckily not suffering con rod failure as some of the other guys.

What am I AM suffering is that I'm about to throw a con rod at the car quite soon.

The main prob is that after over 30,000 miles of owning the car total mileage approx 85k 2nd hand) the drivers side door panel has decided to come adrift at the corner where the lock mechanism is. I swapped the fasteners over from other places on the card to maybe avoid it being just loose but problem persists. It makes for notchy door opening and maybe this is a coincidence but the drivers window fell out today due to a cracked spigot on the lifting arm.

This is seriously getting on my nerves, I have had to wedge the window in the UP position, not good when I have frequent journeys of over 250mls. I can set about getting replacement spigot etc on the mechanism but door panel problem is V frustrating
