How long for an oil change on Micra - Drivethru
How long do you think it should take to change the oil and filter and renew the spark plugs on a 2000 Micra. I have just had it done at a reputable dealer and it took 20 minutes, this seems really quick to me. What do you think?

Once up on the ramps it shouldn't take 5 minutes to drain the oil and fit a new filter.

20 minutes to do the plugs as well sounds fine to me.

Didn't say how much time he was charged for....;-)

Friend of mine had his Passat at the local dealer for fault codes to be read - charged for 1 hour labour (took about 3 minutes) - queried it and was told it was the 'minimum charge'.

I wasn't complaining at all, it was a standard price £35 total regardless of how long it took, I just thought it was really quick compared to other places I have been to where they have taken half an hour just to change the oil.
