I can just see the reaction behind the counter in Boots when you ask for "aluminium ammonium sulphate" ! They get panicky when you ask for meths for the washer bottle.
I once got trapped in York. I drove up a street which was a dead end and a one way street - honest. Fortunately it was quiet so I did the only sensible thing.
:-)
Happy New year

Alternatively smear the wipers with Logan's exploding paste so the crows get a sudden surprise ;-)

Last time I went to York, perhaps 6/7 years ago, I got there just before miday, and did two or three circuits of the centre. Couldn't find anywhere to park. Saw a sign, Park & Ride, went for it. Couldn't get anywhere near it. Turned around and home. Haven't been back since. I think I'll stick to Macclesfield.

The last time I parked in York some toerag had broken the drivers side window. Had a 200 mile drive home in February in sub zero conditions.
Would much prefer the crows

Two questions:
Why would crows confine their wiper stripping antics to a single car park?
Has anyone noticed the date of the article?

I don't know if the date is significant or not. It's a sub-link of tinyurl.com/6eky8 (item 4) and I suppose news happens every day.
