i would say as a private sale somewhere around the £2.5k mark depending on condition, spec etc.

Parkers do an older car valuation on their website. You will have to register to access the data and may have to pay.

Autotrader (use link on the left) has a K Reg VR6 with 120000 miles for £2750. And various others between £2800 and £2900.
Sometimes for older cars actual sale values are the better guide rather than book values.
