Roger Ford panned the beta version in a recent edition of Modern Railways. It ain't much improved.
Tried suggestions for my journey to work tomorrow; postcode NN7 3xx to WC2 leaving at 06:35. Car suggestion not too bad, though not my choice. But public transport?!!!!.
Firstly it shows, as does National Rail, a fictitous rail service omitting some services and adding others (an Xmas/New Year issue?).
Proper answer is drive to Northampton station, catch 06:55, sit back to Euston then bus/walk (or unfold Brompton). System does not seem to mix and match car and PT but there's a bus to Northampton around 06:55 which would connect with the train at 07:32 arriving in at the office by 09:15.
This thing says I cannot start my trip 'til 11:44 then sends me by bus to the next but one village away from town, then back to Northampton bus station where I wait eight hours for the night bus to Gatwick. At Gatwick I get the train to Victoria them a night bus to Aldwych arriving at 03:16!
Try your own journeys; could be a party game!

I have tried it with a variety of journeys that I make, and it is absolutely hopeless with all of them. Either it doesn't know that the bus services exist, or even when it does it ignores them.
And all for the bargain price of £50 million.

Tried it again this morning for same journey on 4 january (normal trains etc) and it's actually come up with a reasonable first suggestion, around 2 hours by bus/train/tube. Suggestion three of a nine hour excursion via Cambridge is a bit wild though!
