Wow! i wonder what the story is behind it?
Someone bought it and they were dissapointed?
An unwanted gift?

Yeah right. Not my credit card!

Sorry, missed your post.

This seems quite a big value item from a guy who seems to only sell DVD players usually. Maybe he thought it wasn't worth the 2 mortgages on his house!
Wow!
That's trusting. Would you agree to pay someone on eBay £480k when they have a rating of 23? And he's had several negatives too.

Location of car is Germany yet pictures where taken almost definetly in the United States.. Hmmm....
Bearing in mind what it is you could probably sell it by word of mouth for what you want - via the factory even
I note the starting bid was £1.00.
Now that's what I call an optimist.

Yes, but imagine if it worked! And the car was the vendor's to sell. And they stuck to the contract. And.....
"nice car .. must have set you back a bit"
"Nah - got it for a quid.... no really, honest I did..."
Agree with imagos. That car is parked in a side street in the USofA
(if you capture the piccy you can just about zoom in on the cars in the background, a spot of image trickery and you can make out the plates)
The purchaser has recently purchased an MGB GT and a Burberry dog collar.
Ruff.....
How long before this item vanishes as eBay cotton on to the obvious scam (lack of car owned by seller)

You must have got better software than I have. How did you make the cars turn through 45 degrees so that you could see the plates ?
you cant read the plates - its the shape and size
I'll take your word for it. Frankly I would have thought that the weather and shadows, together with the length, colour and condition of the grass, were better indicators.
Never thought about the grass, but when you look it it its not a european temperate climate grass. (Any golfer is an expert on grass!!)

I reckon its a scam as well, just by looking at the other items he has traded in. Even if it isn't, then you never have bought it for a quid because it had a reserve price on it.
Says one of 400, they actually made 399. Suggests paying by debit or credit card!
It is not a scam. It's a genuine sale.
I'm only selling it because I can't get it over the traffic calming measures in Basingstoke.
Kevin...

Ah, expensive chasis damage! So my offer of a quid was realistic after all. I don't mind coming to collect.
